I am new in Win32 programming. I am using Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0. Can anyone provide me a simple example of Win32 program? Thank you for your help.

I found this tutorial using some advanced search algorithms I've been working on that used "Simple Win32 Example" as its input heuristic.

Let me know if that helps. If not, I can run my search algorithms again using my super-secret technique to find other links. -
Ahh, but the trick is to find tutorials that will compile and run with Visual Studio 6...."Your job is not to die for your country. Your job is to make some other poor sod die for his."

That's a real point about VC++ 6.0.
Visual Studio 2003 or 2005 would be a better pick. Those compilers have much better support for modern language standard and popular libraries like STL, Boost, Loki. If you're just starting out with C++ do yourself a favor and learn it the modern way. If money is an issue Visual C++ 2005 express is a free download.
