Hello! I understand the need for memory managemente, and i understood the concepts behind the linked lists and the Memory pool, but i was thinking: Mike said, and i quote, "Whatever happens, don't get caught writting your own linked-list class or tree when STL would have worked.". And i am pretty sure a vector of a class with the same elements the memory pool had would have worked just fine. So why did Mark choose to write his own linked list class? Are Vectors slower by any chance??
