So, just wondering how important modelling your game engine/program is in the industry. At university we are being taught this module but I wondered if the industry made extensive use of it, or if it tends to be a with a set architecture for doing most things, such as the splitting logic from the view.
And if so, what kind of UML notation are we talking, Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Activity Diagrams..etc.
